Kolkata Knight Riders won the Indian Head Association after a pounding eight-wicket prevail upon Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last.
Mitchell Starc set the vibe for a splendid KKR execution when he bowled Sunrisers opener Abhishek Sharma with a delight in the first finished.
Sunrisers never recuperated and were bowled out for 113, the most reduced all out in an IPL last.
Each KKR bowler took a wicket with Andre Russell guaranteeing 3-19 and Starc and Harshit Rana getting two each.
Venkatesh Iyer then blitzed an unbeaten 52 from 26 balls in a stand of 91 with Rahmanullah Gurbaz as Shreyas Iyer's side hustled to their objective in 10.3 overs.
Having completed top of the gathering, triumph in Chennai gets a third IPL title for KKR and their first starting around 2014.
Sunrisers, drove by Australia chief Pat Cummins, should stand by one more year to attempt to add to their single IPL win in 2016.
"It was extensive today. This is the very thing we requested from the group and each person and they stood up," said KKR chief Shreyas Iyer.
"It's difficult to depict what we are feeling at present. We've played like invincibles all through the season and there is such a huge amount to treasure at this moment."
